Everyone has got back from where they came,
Studying working but things not the same,

Can't talk for others but for myself,
The trip I miss - work on bottom shelf,

Met after long and each other we did mock,
but the highlight was Sweeeeta and Goa does rock!

We've all moved on gona diff ways,
But what we shared in Sec'bad
Man such stuff always stays,

Exam Time!!!

Exams are about to start,
It’s like your ass has been hit by a dart ;)

20th April is the date of the battle,
If books are grass then we are cattle,

Not much grass in this field,
The cattle’s getting all weak,
Coz it has nothing to eat and no shield,

On one hand there is tension about exams starting,
On the other hand there is the fear of parting,

Since college life is coming to an end,
Exams have taken a backseat my friend,

Wish these final days pass by very slow,
Coz once we leave this Resort,
There will be a sudden change in the flow,

From dude and chick we will become sir and mam,
You will have to slog even if you don’t give a damn,

Make the most of this time is what I have to say,
Coz you won’t get this time back,
No matter how much you pray :)

Relationships start with a BIG bang,
Between friends and your girl you hang ;)

Life seems all nice and rosy,

A date with beauty!!!

We went for a trip,
Our wallets went for a strip,

Roadies is what we thought we were,
Ass got jacked – wish it had more fur ;)

But the feeling was great,
With nature’s beauty it was a date,

We went round and round – up and down,
If given the power,
I would give Gangtok the beauty crown,

In Gangtok – romance is in the air,
People are smart, nice and very fair,

Once you go – you never want to come back,
I wouldn’t mind staying there,
Even if I had a shack…

We = complication ;)

life is crazy n funny,

you feel cold even when its sunny,

you have what you want,

but with time it starts to haunt,

you feel strange and crazy,

but life is like that - unclear and hazy,

you feel like a wound not willing to heal,

you have it all yet you do want to steal,

you want no more yet there is want for more,

your mind and heart are in for a collision for sure,

you feel like laughing with tears in ur eyes,

have truth around you with a feel of only lies,

you tend to forget that everything is normal,

which complicate things and make them formal,

trust me its we who complicate stuff,

even a soft n cozy bed seems all ruff,

we think we are the target and blame the almighty,

forgetting we are strong and can be mighty,

life is beautiful - lets not mess things for us,

coz everythings pleasant its we who make it a fuss...

Time Machine!!!

There are times u feel that you got out clean,

And when you can’t, you wish you had a time machine,

Coz in life you have moments you wish you could relive,

Change something you did or maybe another try you give,

There are moments you were happy and then you were sad,

Going back into time wouldn’t be all that bad,

There would be moments when you thought damn, time flies,

And there would be some when there weren’t many happy pies ;)

Honestly my friend there aint no machine like that,

And life doesn’t give you a second chat,

So ensure you live every moment to your full,

Think twice before an arrow you pull,

Coz once it leaves the bow in your hand,

Can do nothing about it but stand,

The Council :)

Being in the council makes you learn a lot,
We are 13 of us and each fit for the slot,

We are one for all and all for one,
Working in a team is a lot of fun,

All this, my friend is just the good bit,
Coz when the work starts to pour,
U break into a crazy fit,

You have to be with one and be with all,
Coz if that’s not the scene you are sure to fall,

“Rules are meant to be broken”
We say-
“Those who do, give them a token”,

You have to listen to everyone,
Coz sometimes it’s no longer fun,

You can’t satisfy one and you can’t satisfy all,
There are times you have to take a call,

People will call you names and take your case too,
But in that too we take pride,
Coz they have elected me and you,

For our batch mates-
At times we are their sword and at times their shield,
Coz we represent them,
No matter what the battle field,

We are by them and for them,
They are the roots if we - the stem,

Be transparent – let them know what you do,
Coz issues will crop up if they have no clue,

Ensure your there when the batch needs you the most,
Coz they’ve trusted and that’s why you have the post,

Never let the posts get to your head,
Coz once that happens,

alcohol is fun makes u high,
it sure is liquid,
but makes u al dry,

brand loyal is what ppl say they are,
the brand earns big bucks,
n leaves u n ur life wid a scar,

once high you lose control,
your mind n heart go on a stroll,

u say what u feel,
n dont realise,
its real n not reel,

now you've said what u had too,
not realisin you've left someone black & blue,

u may end up in a sorry state,
but the damage is done,

my experiences have not been the best,
as a friend i can just advice - upto you the rest,

they say-"dont drive when your high",
i say-"drink in limit - dont hurt n lie"

drinkin aint bad,
but learn to do it in limit,
or else things can get all ugly n sad,

as an invention - alcohol sure is good,
misusing it - one should never, even if u could :) :) :) :)

i'am an emotional fool,

ya ya i know it aint all that cool,

i'am friends with all but best are few,

coz its important to stick to old pals than find new,

lil' lil' stuf affects me more,

may sound childish...

but am a man to the core,

love others but love yourself most,

coz loving someone more than yourself...

can become a dangerous post,

i think n think n wreck my head,

on something u did or maybe jus said,

i know da its not the best thing to do,

but nobody's perfect n i aint perfect too :)

A day in Counter Strike World...

you start playing coz everyone is,
trust me its one drink that never loses its fizz,

and then the game grows on you,
try leaving it nahhhh no can do,

counter strike becomes you - and you the game,
having the maximum frags gets you the fame,

you hear everything during the day as you hear in the game,
CS lovers understand while others feel its all lame,

as the day begins you hear "GO GO GO",
you feel in a virtual world and everything is slow slow slow,

and then you rush to the loo,
coz its "FIRE IN THE HOLE" im sure you have a clue,

then you reach for a class test,
"STICK TOGETHER TEAM" is the mantra rated the best,

chance by chance we take on our duty,
"ENEMY SPOTTED" on time save us and thats the beauty,

and then you move out for a smoke or two,
"SECTOR CLEAR" is on our mind and then puff puff we do,

and then you lay your eyes,
on what we call a "bomb-shell",
look for a male presence is what is wise,
coz if there is "BOMB HAS BEEN PLANTED" rings the bell,

there are times you feel sad coz your life just did shatter,
"NEED BACK-UP" and you have people there who really matter,

and then you rise and a fighter is born,
"STORM THE FRONT" is you and your fears are torn,

and then everything around you is "POSITIVE",
all happy and smily and nothing "NEGATIVE",

then you we have last minute assignments to do,
with no pen no page and no stuff to copy from too,

you search and search you look around,
your mind is stressed - veins popping out,
"SHE'S GONNA BLOW" is the new surround,
your tensed and confused NO doubt,

*A miracle happens*
and then your no longer tensed or confused,
you finish it working all night long,
and woo hoo you feel "THE BOMB HAS BEEN DIFFUSED",

no longer can i stay up is my condition,
you lay on your bed with one thing in mind,
"HOLD THIS POSITION"......

no one's perfect :)

everyone is perfect is what they think,
and will find a mistake in others in a blink,

no one is perfect we all have flaws,
love others the way they are,
a want to change them is not a good cause,

some define perfect : is what they are,
but misconceptions can take you from reality really far,

learn to love yourself coz charity begins at home,
and you will start loving others,
coz you will be out of the "spot the flaw" zone,

no one is perfect is all i want to say,
losen out and enjoy coz no one's here to stay :)

Random Thoughts!!!

i think i'am losing control,
my laptops working but not d scroll,

i cant go back or forth,
i cant go up or down,
here i'am writing with a messy crown,

there seems to be MESS in my head,
so much i wonder i SHOULD have said,

i feel like i'am trapped in something,
my lifes upside down and everything around me is flipping,

feels funny coz i feel i KNOW,
but everyday i think there is another blow,

you may think i'am a psycho or mad,
and its not GHAJINI where a big blow i had,

these are just random thoughts in my head,
and if i don't pen them down,
i will have night mares in bed :P

Market :P

placement season in my college is on,
and seeing the market eveyones hopes are torn,

tsunami was nothing in comparision to Lehman brothers fall,
market is so sad that few of us have even decided to open up a stall :P

we all joined this college to get placed really well,
but little did we know coz U.S. had other stuff to tell,

we had certain aspirations when we joined here,
all from various backgrounds- BSc, BComm, Arts, HM or Engineer,

a job is all that we wanted,
but with the way things are going- our lives are haunted,

we are still hoping that the day is near,
where we all have a job and live with no fear,

coz these days companies favorite color is pink,
you get one and "boom" u in for a sink,

keep your hopes high is all i wanna say,
coz a damn good job we all will have, is what i pray...r

Long Distance :) :) :) :)

long distance relationships can become a mess,
it can be the best thing in the world and can also give you immense stress :)

when you together the road is less bumpy,
but as and when the distance increases, we start becoming grumpy :)

for any relationship- long distance is the real test,
few succeed, many fail and most are scared to even take part in the fest!!!

its not everyones cup of tea,
coz not everyone can swim and then god save u if you jump into the sea!!!

it is very important to realise when you get into one,
whether this ones for real or it jus for fun ;)

coz when you reach a certain age, the fun part should b'com secondary,
and you must look for someone who can truly be in ur life- primary,

fun and long distance dont go together,
and such relationships can never stand the test of the weather!!!

when in long distance, one has to put in their 100%!!!
coz one distraction and the relationship can suffer a major DENT,

you could be busy, maybe out of balance and a 1000 other reasons,
but you better be careful coz its dangerous being caught in changing seasons!!!

there are times you have to do things you really dont like,
but then life is like that- at time its straight and then there is a spike,

"this is how i'am and i will not change,"
"if he/she still doesn't love me, its simply strange"

but life ain't that way- the word is "compromise",
not everyone can understand this and those who do are termed as wise :)

in the end it's completely your call,
you wanna fly high or take a big bad fall,

honestly, long distance relationships can be a smooth road,
as long as both are committed and carry the trust board...

Jeev Raksha...

jeev raksha is where a volunteer i was,
it feels great when you work for a cause,

the 1st day i went there,
i was excited but with a feeling of scare,

coz there were 50 dogs barking at me,
they were either injured/diseased or old animals set free,

jeev raksha becomes there new home,
well am sure they all call it their happiness dome,

the 1st time yes they would charge and bark,
but once you've been there they would be the happiest to see you even in dark,

Leela Parulekar runs the place,
trust me she is one inspirational and motivational case,

people like her are a rare find,
she is immensely loving, caring and very kind,

she sleeps in the bathroom with her bed right next to the pot,
seeing her work motivates me a lot,

the 1st time i met her i addressed her MAM,
she said we are all dogs and bitches here, call me Leela thats who i'am,

all the animals there have been badly abused,
i think there should be a law to punish the accused,

wheneve i'am there, everything in and aroung me takes a back seat
coz when you see these animals happy its a major treat,

all these animals want is to be loved and cared,
this place is very close to my heart, so i thought this experience of mine must be shared :)

Confusion :P

there are times u feel life is miserable,
wel no can do: dish tv has replaced cable ;)

you wish things go ur way,
but life is crazy and uncertainity is here to stay,

you think you have it all,
until u face the fall,

but life is that way,
like it or leave: it if u may,

"i have full control of my life" is wat u may think,
but honey things can change in a blink,

your "mr know it all" u may feel,
nothing is easy da you hafta fight for every meal,

i haven't seen much da, im jus 24,
but i know quite a bit and its really difficult to score,

i thought i was the luckiest guy,
trust me- a product with one defect and no 1 will buy,

dont just live in the present or the past,
plan your future too coz thats whats really gonna last,

there were a lot of things i think i shouldn't have done,
but till you dont fall and get up there aint no fun,

with every step you take, you learn a bit,
sometimes you suceed and sometimes you throw a fit,

what is important is that you learn at every level,
be an angel and kill the devil,

the balls in your court- remember that!!!
all depends on how good is the contact wid d ball n d bat ;)

positive attitude is what we must have always,
coz thats what sets you apart and thats what pays...

life's games r funny,

the day is not far,
when i start work and maybe buy a car ;)

am a lil' excited a lil' worked up,
coz it feels like a busy road with a stranded pup...

life's been very kind,
have come a long way with my kinda mind ;)

a kid i'am stil,
but responsibilities are increasing the bill :)

life seems a lil' crazy...
everythin looks all hazzy...

fun is what i think work will be,
but then i think is it really ME?

i've done what i've done till now,
few things i knew others i still dnt knw hw :)

feels strange coz till now i thought i was a child,
life's to have fun and go all wild,

but the turn in my life has finally come,
coz things ain't the same with penalties some,

work hard and party harder is what they say,
i truly agree as in the end happiness does pay...
